I has been assimilated - a fic rec! (and not what you think either )

I know I've talked to some of you about how I never cared for cross-dressing fics? It was almost a squick for me and then Jen pluginxbaby wrote this beautiful fic that changed my mind.

Well now, thanks to mandy_croyance, wearemany has put the final nail in my coffin with this:

Oh Fucking hell! This is amazing.It is ridiculously, goosebumps, and chills along the spine hot. But more than that -it is beautiful!
It starts with an accidental discovery, an intrusion. Then one brief glimpse becomes an obsession.
Then it is a gift, and another, and they are courting each other with lingerie! OH my heart!

I've thought it over some and I think the reason I never liked cross-dressing is that I wasn't turned on by the visual of a guy cross-dressing, but when you get me inside their heads, and I see how they feel beautiful, and sexy, and turned on beyond belief? Yeah. I'm there. So, so there.

He clears his throat and says, "I thought you might like it."

"Just because you saw me --"

"I know," Brendon says, "yeah, I get it." Ryan is staring at a square of couch behind Brendon's shoulder, and Brendon scoots over an inch until their eyes meet. "It has crystals," he says. "Like diamonds, almost, I don't fucking know. It just seemed like something you would like. That's all, Ryan, really."

Ryan lets the silk wrapping fall open, the lingerie still pinched between his fingers, and stares down at where it drapes against his body. Then he gathers it all up in his arms again, hugging it to himself. He whispers, "Thank you," and then, even softer, Brendon's name.

"You're welcome," Brendon says automatically, and swallows down everything else he wants and wants to ask and wants to say and wants to touch.
