Bigbang Masterlist!
Sep. 27th, 2009 09:04 pm![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
The mods at bandombigbang never got around to making a masterlist for this years fics. I got tired of slogging through over 100 entries to find fic for seekers, and I had some time and Semagic (Semagic is my friend :D) So I made one.
This is NOT a rec list. This is a comprehensive list of all this years bigbangs in the order they were posted. I tried to be careful but let me know if I fudged any links.
If the formatting seems all over the place - blame the authors- I just copy/pasted their formatting from their entries :DDD
1. Hold The Pose by zarah5
Bands: Panic-centric, with other Bandom members milling about the place
Pairings: Brendon/Ryan, Jon/Spencer (Gabe/William, Tom/Haley, Spencer/Haley, Brendon/Tom, Brendon/Cash, more mentioned)
Rating: R
Word count: ~ 42’000Summary: In which Brendon cleans the apartment of published author Ryan Ross to finance his college studies, and Spencer
opens up an Indian style café and hires Jon to brew his fair trade coffee.
2. For As Long As You'd Like by fic_type_thing
Band(s): Panic At The Disco/Fall Out Boy, with mentions of other bandom people.
Pairing(s): Brendon Urie/Pete Wentz
Word Count: ~26,200
Rating/Warnings: NC-17/ Underage sex, underage drinking.
Summary Being sixteen is apparently not much cooler than being fifteen. Brendon spends his nine weeks of summer vacation at the University of Syracuse Boys Soccer Camp. He meets Pete Wentz, this eighteen-year-old dude who does pretty much everything perfectly, even sweating. Between practices and just hanging out, it's a little difficult for one of them to realize the inexperience and for the other to realize that no one is just perfect.
3. Your Grievance by iphignia939
Band(s): Fall Out Boy; mentions of My Chemical Romance and The Academy Is...
Summary: In which we learn that the price of vengeance is, occasionally, worse than hell itself; or: your grievance shall be avenged. Just not in the way you were thinking. [Third in a series, after On Your Behalf and If I Woke Up Next to You.]
4. Waiting For The Sky To Fall by shihadchick
Band(s): Panic at the Disco, Empires, Hey Monday, My Chemical Romance.
Pairing(s): Spencer/Bob, Jon/Brendon/Ryan (Implied Frank/Gerard)
Word Count: 69 000.
Rating/Warnings: R. Sexual content, cartoon-style violence and supernatural themes.
Summary: It turns out that happily ever after really only is something that happens in fairy tales, and life as a vampire slayer is certainly not one of those.
Three months after realising the dude of his dreams is in fact interested, Spencer Smith is finding that there's more to a relationship than smooth sailing and late night makeouts in cemeteries. With a strange pack of werewolves in town, cracks appearing in Brendon, Ryan and Jon's relationship, and a series of mysterious murders out in the desert, it seems like something is rotten in the state of Nevada. The spate of robberies and violence following My Chemical Romance on their summer festival tour is just another complication for the Scoobies at the Disco, something that doesn't seem nearly as important until two of their number vanish without a trace on the eve of the Vegas tour date. These eight days are going to be one of the longest weeks of Spencer Smith's life.[Sequel to How the West Was Won (and Where It Got Us).]
5 The Only Sound That's Left by soulascending

Summary: Nuke, a member of the Government-sponsored 'superhero' group V5 dies under mysterious circumstances. The remaining four members of the group are barred from investigating the death, prompting them to go back to their (now illegal) vigilante ways. Along the way, they pick up a new ally (Nuke's replacement in the team), an old ally (who never went in for the government sponsored work), and end up fighting against a conspiracy that goes further than expected.
Author's Notes and much more posted with the first chapter.

In which Ryan convinces Spencer to help him take over a privately-owned pet store in Chicago, but what he gets is much more than what he bargained for – Ryan never asked Brendon Urie to waltz in and throw his whole life into chaos, after all. Well, that's kind of up to the crazy mix of actors, musicians, various crew and production members to decide for themselves. Even if they are the ones in the thick of it.

Rating/Warnings: NC-17. Warnings for prolific cursing, multiple instances of drug use, and perilous situations.
Summary:
Ryan Ross has a hard time asking for things. Which is why he doesn't, usually. He hints, he pushes, he sets up the pieces to fall together like some elaborate domino scheme, and so far it's worked. It's how he wound up with a band, a recording contract, and the most unlikely fourway relationship known to man. And it's good, just as good as making music for actual money, and fans who sing along when they're on stage, and the freedom to putter and write and dream as long as he likes.
But everything good ends. Ryan knows this. Albums don't sell, fans find new bands, people die. Which makes it sensible, somewhere in his head, to push away the three people who mean the most to him before they can leave, and leave him heartbroken and, well, just plain broken.
Trouble is, Ryan is not the only person in this relationship. And he's about to learn what happens when other people push back...

When without an Imprint, they exist in a state of tabula rasa -- a “blank slate” of childlike innocence and naivety. Though Beckett runs the Dollhouse with an iron hand, he has much to contend with: Dolls growing more and more self-aware, a Programmer in love with one of his canvases, a rogue Handler, and a dangerously fragmented Doll intent on destroying the Dollhouse and all those attached to it.

Gerard was all-too-aware that he would be a virgin until he graduated. he never had the distance to see before. TAI is far from as steady as he thought they were, especially when Panic! at the Disco catches a break
while in England and become stars overnight. It's becoming increasingly clear that something is going to break.
So far, the story is similar to history. But then Brent befriends Jon and introduces him to Panic, an impulsive Flickr decision leaves Jon fangirl-famous
and Jon starts to realize that maybe he wants more than friendship from Brent even as TAI starts to break and Panic deals with their sudden fame.
And as things between Jon and Brent heat up, everything else begin to fall apart.

amused by this bouncy young man, whose enthusiasm is both strange and strangely appealing, but who manages to hide questions about his past with unexpected
smoothness. Consequently, Sir Spencer finds himself paying far to much attention to Mr Boyd’s secretive manner as well as to the way he fills his regrettably old
and worn clothes (his breeches being far too tight and not quite fitting right). Furthermore, Sir Spencer's oldest friend, the dissolute Lord Ross, is trying to woo,
unsuccessfully, his estate manager Mr Walker. despite the tumultuous passion between them, Mr Walker refuses to give in to Lord Ross's advances as long as
Lord Ross refuses to admit that it is more than a tumble in the hey that he wants from Mr Walker. Fortunately, Walker is a patient man and willing to wait while
Ross goes through his tantrums.
To this entangled situation arrives Mr Wentz, a cousin of Sir Spencer and an old flame of Lord Ross. Mr Wentz is known for his debauched lifestyle and delights i
n causing mayhem - and he seems far too interested in Sir Spencer's new tutor. But will the lovers find a way? Will Brendon lose his flower and find healing through
the magic of buttsex? Will Ryan learn to admit his feelings and finally convince Jon Walker to bed him?

term. Jon squeezes her shoulder gently in what he hoped was a reassuring way as her hand comes to rest on top of his and she turns to look at him,

(or Brendon, for that matter) doesn’t catch him staring at Brendon’s mouth, because he’s pretty sure he’s doing it absolutely shamelessly.
For whatever reason Brendon scratches the back of his neck sheepishly and Ryan sees Jon in the gesture. Almost absently Ryan wonders
how many of Jon’s mannerisms are borrowed from Brendon.
“It’s. You’re,” Brendon says with his mouth and his hands. “If you say no, there are other people I can ask.” There’s a long pause where
Ryan thinks that it’s the space for his answer, but Brendon looks him with serious eyes and runs his tongue over his bottom lip. “But,

Pairing(s): Brendon/Ryan, others
Word Count: 70170
Rating/Warnings: R, brief mention of underage drinking
Summary: (Sub)urban fantasy, wherein Brendon Urie finds love and loses hearts.
Heart-dealing... Brendon recognizes the term, but in the same vague way that he recognizes the Mafia while really only knowing that it's something
he doesn't want to mess with and involves people in suits. The term obviously doesn't mean actual, physical hearts, since the jar looks to be just a wisp
of cloudy shine. It's more like the ability to love and hate and feel strongly about anything, all bottled in one jar and stolen out of someone. It's shady shit.
Brendon's not really sure what to do with the heart; should he have gotten instructions from Pete about how this all works? He's mostly flying in the dark
so Brendon just puts it next to his bed, covered by a heap of clothing in case his mom walks in without knocking the next morning.
"Night," he tells it as he clicks off the light.
